Carmelina Carabajal
Assistant Tumbling Instructor

Carmelina is in her 2nd year on the tumbling staff of the Southwest All Stars. She has been a member of the University of Minnesota's Women's Gymnastics team for 3 years as an All-Around competitor, however, her favorite events are the floor and vault. Carm has 17 years of gymnastics training and has coached preschool through Level 7 gymnasts. In her native State of New Mexico, she was a 3-time State Champion.

Traci and Trisha Schilling
Assistant Team and Tumbling Staff

Traci and Trisha were Seniors and Captains on the first ever Southwest All Stars team. "The Twins" were both very successful on their high school Varsity gymnastics team, and now cheer at the Collegiate level while pursuing a degree in Physical Education from Southwest Minnesota State University in Marshall, MN. Traci and Trisha are also active in volunteering time with local High School gymnastics programs. This is their 3rd year on staff for the Southwest All Stars and their responsibilities include assisting in coaching all of our teams, as well as assisting in tumbling instruction.

Breanna Fahey
Assistant Coach - Mini Team

Breanna is the longest running member of the Southwest All Stars, with 2 years of Captainship. She has been awarded our highest recognition of MVP 3 years in a row. Breanna is in her 2nd year of assisting with our Mini team and thinks of all the team members as little sisters.

Noelle VanValkenburgh
Assistant Coach - Mini Team

Noelle has been a member of the Southwest All Stars for 3 years. She has been Captain of the Senior team for 2 of those years. This will also be Noelle's 2nd year assisting with the Mini team. She enjoys watching how quickly the members of our youngest team learn new skills.

Maddy Thoele
Assistant Coach - Mini Team

Maddy is our only graduating Senior from our 2007-2008 team. She was such a great contributor and leader on our team that we couldn't let her go too far. Maddy spent the entire season assisting with our Mini teams and has done a great job. She will spend the 2008-2009 season in the same role. We are also proud to announce that she was recently crowned Miss Teen Minnesota.
